  • Advancements when?

    Pretty sad you are already asking about content updates not even a month into obt..

    Anyway as you're saying, GF has the content locked atm and will eak it out when they feel its necessary.
    Personally i don't think now is the time to be releasing content updates; I expect that a month or two after release and to be padded out with in game events.

    Players will always be leaving and this is usually combated by two things, game updates as you say or marketing. Since the game is new your likely to see more advertisements than updates

  • Low FPS

    Sounds like a temperature issue, a gpu will limit itself when it gets too hot. Clean out the dust from ur PC and apply new thermal paste if necessary

    Note: you can use Nvidia inspector to see the gpu temperature while gaming

    Playing on a 10 year old laptop and i'm getting 30-40 fps on max settings (except medium shadows).

    Although i'm only playing on 1366/768 usually, i plug my tv in for 1080p and get about 20-30 which is playable


    I'm also using an AMD card; for this reason i don't think the game is poorly optimized.

    Might be possible you have a lot of crap running in the background:
    1. Windows key + r

    2. type "msconfig" and press run
    3. select "selective startup" and go to services tab

    4. Check "Hide all microsoft services" then disable all, then select the services you want on
    5. Go to startup tab and disable all
    6. OK then reboot

    I have my pc only running the game, driver services and discord

    Another thing you can try is a disk defragment, you can google how to do that (it should be done monthly if possible)

    I hope these things can help you out to get some more tasty frames

    Great tips on skills,
    One thing i could add is, i think Decade Pulse for Stella is a great skill for breaking. It breaks armor pretty fast and also does decent damage (i don't think the greater range or duration is'nt worth it tho unless you have spare SP)

  • EXP Rates are really, really low in this game.

    I respectfully disagree, i've had an enjoyable time leveling and hope they do not change the exp rates at all. (i would be ok with stamina changes tho)


    I joined the game later also and i've found heaps of people to do manic with, it's also not that hard to solo anyway (just longer and you use more potions) amdportland is right though, no high lvl will help you since there is no benefit to them - my guildies usually grind together on our alts tho when mains are out of energy tho


    Currently have lvl 44, 35 and 31 if thats any indication of my playtime

    Also remember this is an Asian game originally, expect a grind and take it at your own pace. I feel the people that don't enjoy the grind are people who see all these people at endgame and want to join them asap by playing 24/7 - this game can't(shouldn't) be played 24/7 on 1 character. It will just drain you

    tldr: I play multiple characters to keep the game fresh and take my time leveling so not concerned with the current exp rates

    I can see that being a problem for plebeian internet users, i hope for your sake its just the beta..
    Sometimes games like to update all the files even if no changes were made just for security reasons though.

    I wouldn't mind if they did it the same way they did in Aion where they dropped from mobs in instances. I'd be happy as hell if I looted the "tell me" dance or something else :P

    Yeah if they made them cash shop, i don't think many would buy them anyway

    No direct bans happened as far as I know, LATAM and SEA are still playing from steam without using a single VPN, btw.


    In any case, I don't see the point in arguing about the importance or how serious publishers even apply their ToS or not, but if anyone really believes that they are going to be banned just because of VPN they are just being too naive. Just do it quietly and enjoy the game, there is no extra lag because of it and there are still active communities from ipblocked places anyway.

    The only bans I've heard about are the temporary 3 day bans for that minor exp glitch/exploit
